The AffJet Blog

Affiliate Network and Feature Updates

We have just made a major update to a few affiliate networks. This update affects Commission Junction, Affiliate Future and Affiliate Window.

Affiliate Window Click Ref Update

We were not previously able to track click refs fully for any affiliates with Affiliate Window accounts, but after a new update, this feature is now available for all. If you track Affiliate Window through AffJet then you can now see click and transaction data for all your click refs. You can still see all the other data about click refs as well, but the update covers the ability to see clicks for each click ref.

Commission Junction Click & Impression Update

If you have added your Commission Junction account to AffJet, you would probably have noticed that we were not able to track clicks and impressions for your CJ data previously. this was due to them not being available through the CJ API and them being very hard to get hold of through the CJ interface. However, Carlos has been working hard on a solution and AffJet is now able to track and display clicks and impressions from Commission Junction.

This update has meant that we have had to forfeit the ability to view specific websites and links for CJ, but after feedback, we decided that the clicks and impressions data was much more useful.

Affiliate Future Europe and USA Coverage

Previous to our our update, Affiliate Future was only available for UK affiliates to track and analyse in AffJet. We have now made Affiliate Future available to European and United States affiliates. If this covers you, just log into your AffJet account and add Affiliate Future as a new affiliate network.

Affect of Updates on Projects

These changes have meant that we have had to delete and re-import Affiliate Window, Commission Junction and Affiliate Future data. The IDs of all the links in AffJet for these networks will have changed. While this does not affect your reporting in any way for those not using AffJet projects, if you do use AffJet projects, then any links from the updated networks will have been removed from those projects.

For your custom projects to work and display data correctly to you, you will need to add your links to your projects again.
